Can I put storage drawers, trundle units and drawer units under any My Room bed?
Yes, the beds are designed to accommodate any of these pieces. They will not fit under the queen sleigh bed.

Can I use a boxspring on My Room beds?
The beds have been designed to accommodate underbed storage; therefore the bed rail is in a higher position. Because of the higher position, we recommend using a bunkie board (platform) under the mattress instead of a boxspring. If you choose to use a boxspring on our twin beds, the finished height of the mattress will be at the top of the footboard. The queen sleigh bed requires a box spring and mattress.

Can two twin beds become bunk beds?
Yes, all our twin beds except the sleigh bed are bunkable. The headboards are used for the lower bed and the footboards are used for the upper bed. It is recommended that two guard rails and a ladder be used with all bunk beds.

What do I get when I order a bunk bed?
Two twin beds, two guard rails, a ladder and eight slats. 

Can I put more than one drawer unit under a bed?
Yes. They go only half way under the bed, so one can fit on either side.

On an Ashton bed, what is the difference between molding inside and molding outside?
When using the bed only as a twin, the molding should be on the inside of the headboard facing the footboard. If the bed is bunked, the molding should be on the outside. This way the molding will line up when the footboard is stacked on top of it.

If I buy My Room now can I come back and get matching pieces at a later time?
Yes, My Room was designed to be added to as the child grows.

Will the finish match if I add more pieces later?
Yes, because we have designed the line to be added to as the child grows.

Will the style be something my child will like when he or she is older?
Yes, the style and the dimensions were designed to have your child grow into and not out of.

Are stacked pieces secure?
Yes, the pieces have two L-brackets that attach them together. Also, each base cabinet has levelers in case your floor is not level.

Do your bunk beds meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission's standards?
Yes, we have always met or exceeded the safety standards.

At what age would you recommend getting a bunk bed?
Not before the child reaches the age of six. 

Do I need a base if I want to put stacking cabinets on the floor?
Yes, the bases allow the pieces to sit level and secure on the floor.

What wood is the product made from?
It is ash, which is a hardwood similar to oak. Baseball bats are made of ash.

Once I stack pieces can I rearrange them at a later date?
Yes, that is the advantage of My Room. It can be stacked up when space is a concern and later placed on the floor for a different room design.

Are the drawers easy to open?
Yes, we use side-mounted roller glides with built-in stops.

Do I have a choice of pulls?
Yes, you can order it either with handles or knobs.

Is the furniture shipped assembled?
Yes, all of our products are shipped assembled except the beds. The beds require the rails to be attached to the headboards and the footboards.

I am concerned about my toddler pulling over the dresser.
At My Room we recommend that you start with a stacking dresser on the floor. At this height it cannot be tipped over. Also, the drawers or shelves are at toddler height, so they don't have to climb to see their things.

Do you have a computer desk?
Yes, you can use either our corner desk or our other desk. They both come with a drawer/tray combination drawer. It can either be a drawer or lower the drawer face and it becomes a tray.

Are the shelves adjustable?
Yes, the shelves are inserted over a wire that is set into a groove in the side of the shelf. To adjust the shelf, just pull it out, reposition the wires into the holes and slide the shelf back over them. This system keeps the shelves from being knocked loose.

If my child damages the tops or the drawer faces is there anything that can be done?
Yes, we offer replacement tops and drawer fronts in case of any problem.

Does My Room's toy chest have any safety features?
Yes, there is a gap between the front panel and the top as well as two safety hinges. The hinges keep the top from closing without pushing it closed.

How long does it take to receive a product from My Room once its has been ordered?
Our turnaround time on orders is four to six weeks.
